again
How many times have you had to start again? I want to remind you that it is never too late; you are never too old to start again. Know that we are all still figuring things out. We all want answers fast, but easy comes easy goes. The Lord Jesus is teaching us so we do not continue to be delayed, YES delayed. During the season of wanting fast answers, the Lord Jesus teaches us to grow, we are being stretched, and these become seasons that we never forget. This is where maturity becomes visible in us.
In the last three years of my walk with the Lord Jesus, I have learned so much; however, not many answers were provided to me fast enough to understand the journey (at that moment). I had to seek and little by little answers came “not fast” slowly, step by step I learned, and still learning. I understood that lonely days or nights were not lonely they were alone time for me to reflect and seek God. Pain and suffering were allowed for a purpose, some of them being my growth and expansion. The Lord is preparing us for much bigger and better; however, he wants to ensure we have the capacity to contain what He is planning for us to receive, we cannot be hollow. Through this season faith ignites.
When we are obedient, keep our faith in Him, and wait for His guidance even though it might not be within our timing, the Lord is saving us, He is protecting us. I want you to also know that as I write this the Lord is speaking to me directly as well. There is no time wasted, there are no coincidences with God. All is perfectly calculated. If you are in Him and Him in you.
When testing periods come and I believe in my soul that I did not just try but did the best that I could, I always say “I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith, I have finished my part, the rest on you Lord” (2 Timothy 4:7). Even when I believe I did not pass tests as I should have, I still have the opportunity to run to Him to His throne of grace, (Hebrews 4:16) because we all need more grace right? It is a win with God always.
Friends it is okay to start again, it is ok to keep doing. Keep going and shake off the one thing that has been hard for you to let go of again and again.
Let us pray: My Father and my God, may we learn to never give up, may we learn to stay on the narrow path that although answers may not come fast we know it leads to you, we know we can stand on your promises for you never fail. If we fail you fail, you did not bring us this far to fail. We ask that you glorify yourself in us so that we may shout to the world who you are and what you have done for us. Father you get the glory; we honor you we exalt you, thank you for hearing us always, thank you for strength and wisdom. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray – Teleo! Hebrews 13:5-6 (MSG)
5-6 Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote:
God is there, ready to help;
I’m fearless no matter what.
Who or what can get to me?
